Cat Tien National Park
Cat Tien National Park is a forest with valuable biodiversity resources of Vietnam and the world. Cat Tien National Park was recognized as a world biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2001; The Ramsar Secretariat has recognized Bau Sau (Crocodile Lake) Wetland as a Ramsar Convention of International Importance in 2005; and on September 27, 2012 – World Tourism Day, Cat Tien National Park was ranked as a special national monument by the Government of Vietnam.
The natural area of Cat Tien National Park is 71,000 ha, stretching over 3 provinces of Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc and is surrounded by 90 km of Dong Nai river.
Guests are kindly requested to strictly observe the following rules in order to allow everyone a pleasant stay:
- Keep quiet so as not to affect other members as well as not to disturb and affect the wild nature.
- Please dispose of trash properly to keep Cat Tien really green – clean.
- By carving on trees or taking something from the forest, people will unknowingly gradually decrease the value of the forest. Taking only pictures and leaving only footprints is a civilized way of dealing with forests.
